Entrance / Cloakroom

Rupert is entered through a stable door to the hall where the stairs to the first floor are located. A downstairs cloakroom is also available on the ground floor. A storage cupboard under the stairs stores items such as the vacuum cleaner, broom, mop and bucket, ironing board and iron although these are not for the faint hearted on holiday. A glass panelled door leads you into the kitchen . . .

Kitchen

Either eat out at the many cafes, bistros or restaurants or use the fully equipped modern kitchen to rustle up a banquet. The kitchen has been equipped with a hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer-dryer and a fridge-freezer. Extra goodies such as a sandwich maker and fondue set can also be found lurking in a cupboard. A glass panelled door leads you into the lounge / dining room . . .

Lounge / Dining Room

In this spacious room you can relax on the corner sofa bed or arm chair nattering over coffee or snoozing through a film. The lounge area offers a flat screen TV with Digital Freeview channels, Video/DVD player as well as a stereo. To make the stay more memorable we have left a few CD's, Videos and DVD's to enjoy as well as puzzles and games in the welsh dresser. The dining room table can comfortably seat four people.

Master Bedroom with en-suite

Located upstairs, nestled into the roof space, this spacious master bedroom shows off the original old beams from the stables. The bedroom has a large double bed (King Size 5ft), bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers and blanket box. A window overlooks Shirehorse Mews and a sky light lets the morning sun in and shows off the stars at night. This bedroom also benefits from an flat screen TV with Digital Freeview channels and a spacious en-suite with shower, washbasin and WC.

Main Bathroom

This main bathroom has a light and airy feel providing bath with shower attachment, washbasin and WC. The skylight provides lots of natural sunlight and adds to the character upstairs.

Second Bedroom

Also located upstairs the second bedroom offers views over to Brewers Quay and through to Newtons Cove. This quirky bedroom has a low positioned window where on a bright day you can get a glimpse of the sea. This room has two 3ft single beds. Hanging space is available from one of the beams and further storage is in a tall boy chest of drawers.

Outside

Outside the property is a courtyard and parking where Rupert has its own reserved secure parking space. An additional two visitor spaces are available in the adjacent car park which are reserved for Shire Horse Mews visitors.
